Challenge

The past two months I have started working towards a goal I want to accomplish. The easiest way for me to tell you what I want to accomplish is with a list

• make shirts.

• sell shirts

• promote them for a retreat

• do a retreat

• repeat next year +

• add new shirts

• add postcard prints of my art to sell

• create other things i enjoy making

• Remember all the selling is for helping others

• add local artist who would like to contribute a %, set amount, anything!

• make this all more legit.

• website, cards for promoting

• start a non profit. To hold me accountable of all things

• get a licensed something because I got no experience.

• so on……..

I have done so much of this list but not to the fullest i can.

Challenge. I chose that title for this reason. It’s a challenge to put myself out there in any form or fashion. Baby step right?

A dear friend encouraged me to set a booth up at Knox Makers Makers Market. Cool I can do that. Yikes. I felt like all the things had to be done before that day. Design a website lol ok. Wait, how do I use a Mac? Make prints of my art, is my stuff good enough? Im no artist. So on and so on!! Do you see how my brain works?

The business cards I designed made me feel legit lol. They turned out so good. It’s so funny how a little card with my art on it can make me so giddy!

Challenge. Another important person in my life pushed me to go on and publish this website. I didn’t feel like it was ready. My goal was to have it ready for the Makers Market. Since Im doing it myself, it was never gonna be good enough. That makes me giggle. Its up. haha. Im really excited about it and truly appreciate all the encouragement.

My next project is getting some prints made of my drawings. It’s so intimidating for 100 reasons but I will get it done.

I’ve seem and heard that my site is asking for subscription. I had no idea. I also know that the shirts are on the site but payment options aren’t. Give me some time. If anyone is interested reach out to me and I will get it to you. I have plans for 2 more shirts so keep checking back in.
